The Daughter Bake House is a patisserie caf\u00e9 located in Kota Bharu, specializing in French desserts, cakes, and viennoiseries. Established in December 2019 as a home-based bakery under the Companies Act 1965, it transitioned into a physical caf\u00e9 in February 2023. Over its five years of operation, the business has grown from home baking to retail sales and wholesale supply to other caf\u00e9s within the Kelantan area. The caf\u00e9 now operates with a team of 18 staff divided into two main departments: the kitchen and front service crew. To ensure smooth daily operations, the company has implemented lean operational strategies focusing on efficient production and service delivery. However, in late 2023, The Daughter Bake House encountered challenges related to efficiency, cost control, and quality, which affected its ability to maintain standard operating procedures. These issues were largely influenced by increased production demands, prompting adjustments in strategy to meet operational goals.<\/span><\/p>
